From Argentina to Aotearoa

The Beginning
Sweetargentos was born in a quiet Christchurch kitchen during the 2020 lockdown. Missing the flavours of my homeland, I started baking Alfajores to share a little joy with my neighbours. What began as a cure for homesickness quickly blossomed into a mission to bring the authentic taste of Argentina to the South Island.
The Heritage
Every recipe carries the soul of Santiago del Estero. We grew up with the aroma of Grandma’s baking filling the air—a memory we honour today by using the legendary Vacalin dulce de leche. We don’t take shortcuts; we follow the traditions that have made the Alfajor a cultural icon.
The Dream Today
Today, Sweetargentos is my "imagination on a plate." From my traditional classics to the exotic "Gorgeous" passion fruit creations, every treat is handcrafted with love and a spark of magic. Thank you for being part of our sweet journey!
