Who we are?
ARGENTINIAN-STYLE ALFAJORES AT THEIR BEST!
"Enjoying an Alfajor is about more than just the sweet treat itself. It is about bringing people together and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Luckily, at Sweetargentos we have both covered."
Back home, alfajores (pronounced "al.-fa.-ho-eres"), are traditional Argentinian pastries that consist of two delicate, melt-in-your-mouth cookies made of a tasty combination of butter, citrus, honey, vanilla, flour, sugar and eggs sandwiched together with a centre of creamy dulce de leche, (a caramel confection made from milk and sugar), and then hand-dipped in dark or white chocolate. We proudly use Argentinian dulce de leche "Vacalin", one of Argentina's leading providers of milk caramel since 1981.
Having fond memories of our childhood home in Santiago del Estero, (always filled with the mouth-watering aroma of freshly baked alfajores), inspired us to begin baking using our Grandma's recipes from "El Portal del Noa Argentino" where NOA stands for the North West Region of Argentina. First, we shared our love for alfajores with our family and friends, especially after the COVID-19 lockdowns here in New Zealand, and then with our neighbours. The word spread and our alfajores started a blossoming journey.

Are you ready to awaken your senses?
With a vision to share our Argentinian culture through artisan baked-to-order Alfajores, we opened in December 2020 our online shop based in Christchurch. We're thrilled to bring the taste of one of the most traditional Argentinian treats to Aotearoa and share our love for Alfajores with all of you.
We use the highest quality local ingredients to create our confections including the classic or traditional, V (vegan dairy and egg-free), and GF (gluten-free). In addition to local collection and delivery, we also ship our Alfajores nationwide, to Australia, the UK and now the USA.
Thank you for being here with us, your continued support means the world to us :)
Fondly,
